Final Challenge completed! 24km Howth to Dun Laoghaire walk.

The final challenge of our 50km for MS was completed on Sunday, 31st May, bringing all of our km's for MS in May over 70 each.

We had a great day, and we were joined by friends who also wanted to help us push the challenge over the line. We finished up with food and liquid refreshment in Dun Laoghaire and celebrated a month of real achievement.

Thank you to every single person who donated. We can't believe the support that we got over the last month. Roll on next year!

Run Number 1 for MS

A strong start today with a lunchtime 4km run to get us started on our 50k target!

Support our challenge to leave MS behind!

Dave was diagnosed with MS in 2017. What started as a pain in his back turned out to be MS. MS has been a rollercoaster for Dave. He has suffered the lows of having to use a walking stick to get around to the highs of finishing second in the Neurological Minor section of Hyrox. MS is unpredictable, and anything that we can do to help raise money for research, we will happily do.

Keith and Wayne are constant supports to Dave, helping him train to complete the Rathfarnham 5k in 2025 from a starting point where he couldn't complete 1km.

We are planning to each run 50k in May, with some runs being individual and some as part of a group. To celebrate this achievement, we will then walk from Howth Harbour to Dun Laoghaire Harbour on Sunday, 31st May, as one final challenge.

Please make a donation to support our challenge.

There are over 10,000 people in Ireland living with MS and we need your help to leave MS where it belongs, behind us.

Money raised is split between the work of MS Ireland and the MS International Federation.

You can now support this work in Ireland and around the World. We've accepted The May 50K challenge to be an active part of the change.

Please make a donation towards our fundraiser today and support our team challenge. Thank you for your support!

David, Wayne and Keith, I am so proud of you all. What started as a challenge to walk 50km during May has led to a final 26km today, and every step has been taken with purpose, friendship and heart. David, I know firsthand the daily reality of living with MS, which makes what you're doing even more inspiring. Wayne and Keith, thank you for walking every step alongside him. And to the five others joining you, including our son Cillian and his friend Rory, thank you for being part of something that means so much. I hope today is filled with good conversations, plenty of laughs and a real sense of pride in what you've achieved together. You are making a difference, and I couldn't be prouder of all of you. 💙
